Last Sunday my father and I went fishing along a river. We found the water so dirty that we could hardly catch fish in it.
A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed.
If the river water all over the country is polluted like this， no living things will exist in the water. As we all know， environmental pollution does great harm to living things and human beings. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. Our government is doing her best to take measures to fight against pollution. Our modern city is too crowded，and to solve the problem，three proposals are put forward.

Secondly，the city government must have a tight control over rural people entering cities to engage themselves in trade or do various physical jobs so as to lessen the pressure on the city caused by the increased population.
Finally more and more people suggest that living blocks with shopping centers，schools，hospitals as well as cinemas and theatres round them or even satellite towns should be built in city suburbs or the countryside round the cities. In this way city citizens will be encouraged to move there to live and work. If these three proposals are well carried out.
